Compressed videos are saved back to your device media library, so you can find and use the lighter version from your Photos app or media library after saving.
No. The original video is not removed automatically. You review the result and choose what to do with the original. If you decide to delete it, the action requires your confirmation.
Core video compression is designed to work on your device. Some non-core services, such as support, diagnostics, subscriptions, or updates, may require an internet connection.
The app is designed to process selected videos on your device where technically possible. We do not require you to upload personal videos to our servers for the core compression flow.
Photos access is needed so you can select videos from your media library, preview them, compress them, and save the processed version back to your device.
File size reduction depends on the original video, duration, resolution, format, and selected compression level. The app can help reduce file size, but it does not guarantee a specific result for every file.
